Destrier today introduces the Enterprise Peer Reviews Insider podcast series – another first as we continue to innovate in enabling technology vendors to perform at their best in this fast-growing area.
Consumer reviews sites like Yelp, Trip Advisor and Google have been established for a while, but on the B2B side, there’s been a slower start. That’s changing fast and sites like G2, TrustRadius and Gartner Peer Insights are exerting more and more influence in the process of helping business buyers to make better, more informed decisions about their corporate technology purchases.
At Destrier, we enable technology vendors to understand the new world of enterprise peer reviews, and to figure out why they are important – and here to stay.
In short, it’s all about the data. And that’s what we’ll explore in this series of podcasts, as we share our hard-won insights into the world of enterprise peer reviews.
We open the series by taking a look at what enterprise peer reviews are and find out why they matter. Then we’ll outline how to get started, and dive into why enterprise reviews really are “a thing”.
After that, we will focus on whose job it is to manage reviews, within a vendor, and we will talk about incentives and the reasons that people write reviews in the first place.
We will also share some tips on what to do when you get a bad review – because you can bet the day will come.
In the second half of the series, presented by Destrier Managing Partner Simon Jones, we’ll take a closer look at how vendors are weaponizing peer reviews, and explain why the first 100 reviews are the most critical. We’ll also explore why you might have an advantage, not a disadvantage if you don’t yet have any reviews.
And to bring the series home, we’ll share insights into the maturity model we’ve developed so that technology vendors can more easily figure out where they stand with peer reviews.
We hope you’ll listen in. The Enterprise Peer Reviews Insider podcast is available free on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Anchor. And if you’d like to tap in to our industry-leading expertise in enabling vendors to win in the peer reviews game, get in touch!
